The game kicked off in inclement weather and within the first five minutes
Matthew had a couple of shots on goal with the second one going for a corner,
from which Harry hit a good shot which was saved by the keeper but fell to
Harrison for a tap-in to make it 1-0. A couple of minutes later Henry had a good
effort from the edge of the box before Matthew ran from the halfway line,
skipped past a defender and hit a looping shot over the keeper from outside of
the area for a 2-0 lead. After 15 minutes, a throw-in from Luke K was headed on
by Harrison to the back post where Henry tucked it away to make it 3-0. The next
attack saw Matthew turn well in the area before hitting a shot wide but five
minutes later Bridge Eagles then pulled one back to make it 3-1 and the half
came to an end with a well struck shot from Ellis being pushed round the post
for a corner.
 
Jensen replaced Lewis as Goalkeeper. The second half began as the first half
ended with Matthew picking up the ball on the halfway line and running in on
goal before hitting a shot which was saved by the keeper. After 4 minutes, Lewis
shot from the left which was saved but was followed up well by Matthew for a 4-1
lead. There was another effort from Matthew and a shot which wide from Lewis
before Bridge FC Eagles made it 4-2 and the deficit could have been reduced
further except for a save by Jensen on his goaline. Matthew had a shot just wide
and a good pass from Lewis set up Liam, who's effort went just past the post
before Liam returned the favour with a great pass to Lewis, who took it on and
hit a great strike over the keeper in to the top right hand corner to make it
5-2 and secure the win. With only a few minutes remaining, Liam tried an
overhead kick which fell to Luke K who's shot was saved and as the driving rain
returned, the whistle blew for full
time.
