This cup fixture was a repeat of the league game a couple of weeks ago.
Elton had the first few attacks and within the first 10 minutes, Lewis had made
four good saves, Jamie cleared one off the line and Luke J a goal saving tackle.
The Blues could not get the movement going forward and Elton continued to push
forward and another good save by Lewis and tackles by Luke J, Travis and Henry
saw the first half come to a close.         

The Blues began the second half more attacking with Matthew having a
good run on goal before Travis had a shot which was well saved by the keeper.
Good defending by Ellis and a good tackle by Amy led to the ball getting to Luke
K and he fed Matthew who had a good shot but it was well defended. A moment
later, Travis picked the ball up in his own half and had a great run down the
left, in to the box and he managed to get a shot in just as he was being tackled
and it was well saved by the keeper. No sooner had that happened, than Elton
went down the other end and made it 0-1. Elton were now attacking more and there
was a good tackle from Amy before Elton fiurst hit the post and then next hit a
shot over Lewis's head to make it 0-2. Harrison had a couple of long range shots
which went wide before hitting a well struck shot from the edge of the box,
across the goal but wide again. With a couple of minutes remaining, Liam was in
on goal but his shot which was destined for the top left hand corner was well
saved by the keeper. With the Blues still looking to score, time was upon them
and with the final whistle the cup run for this year was at an end.
