Today Wardle visited their neighbours Bridge FC.

 These two teams have played each other several times in the past and all the
games have been of high entertainment and this wasn't to be any different.

 The game kicked off and Wardle were straight on the attack. Shot after shot
but with excellent keeping from Bridge, Wardle couldn't break the dead lock.
However Wardle stayed strong which led to a fantastic piece of football from the
midfield. Owen Tweedy, JD Terry and Sean Kgwakgwa played one touch football up
deep into Bridge's half which led to a goal from JD Terry.

 Just the break through Wardle needed. This was soon followed up with a goal
from Owen Tweedy. Wardle had to do their fair share of defending but held out
with some great tackling from Ben Mellor who was not playing in his usual
position today, but this certainly didn't show.

 Half time and Wardle were two up.

 Second half and Wardle quite clearly showed that they hadn't finished. 

Wardle continued to press which led to further goals from JD Terry which took
him to his Hat-trick on the day. Wardle held the score at 4-0 but Bridge never
showed any signs of giving up. Wardle had to be strong in defense with Jamie
Pearce making some excellent challenges which kept Bridge out. Jamie Pearce and
Ben Mellor awarded Man of the Match.
