Wardle Warrior Whites 2 Prestwich Town Black 1

Today saw Wardle at home against Prestwich.

 The game was very even for the first ten minutes with each team cancelling
each other out and both having chances. However Wardle made changes and within minutes saw them take the lead with a goal from Owen Tweedy. This seem to lift Wardle and they were determined to get
more.

 Half time came and Wardle went in a goal to the good.


Second half both teams were pressing but once again Wardle increased their
lead with a goal from Jacob Woodhouse. That making his tally to six for the
season. Prestwich never gave up and for all their efforts scored towards the end
of the game. Kamran Dawson showed his goal keeping skills throughout the game
deflecting all that came his way. This earned him Man of the Match along with
Owen Tweedy.
